What is the FTS Case Knowledge Platform?
FTS is a B2B SaaS tool that helps technical-operations teams capture incidents and faults as structured Case Cards, run a formal verification workflow, and search for previously solved problems — assisted by AI. Think "Confluence + Jira specifically built for the shop floor, with an AI Copilot that knows your verified cases by heart".
Who is FTS built for?
Teams of 5–50 people in manufacturing, automotive testing, energy, infrastructure, and aerospace who deal with recurring technical problems and want to preserve institutional knowledge as people retire, rotate, or change shifts. Typical buyers: Head of Operations, Quality Manager, Plant Manager, Engineering Lead.
How is FTS different from a generic wiki?
Three things: (1) structured fields enforce a consistent observation/root-cause/resolution format; (2) the verification workflow separates draft knowledge from trusted knowledge; (3) AI similarity search and Copilot surface the right past case at the right moment instead of relying on people remembering the right wiki page.
What languages does FTS support?
The interface is available in German and English (DACH-focused for now). Case content is language-agnostic — you can write in any language and the AI translation feature handles DE ↔ EN automatically. Further UI languages are planned for 2026.
Pricing & billing
What does it cost?
Three tiers:
- Starter — €149/month, up to 10 users, 1 site, 3 workspaces.
- Team — €499/month, up to 50 users, unlimited sites/workspaces, AI features included, API access.
- Enterprise — custom pricing. Unlimited users, SSO, on-prem option, dedicated support. See pricing page.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Sign up for free and explore the platform for 14 days — no credit card required. Founding-customer discount of 30% off year-one is available for the first 5 pilot customers; mention it during sign-up.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades apply at the next billing cycle. If you downgrade below current usage (e.g. 12 users on Starter), you have 14 days to either reduce usage or stay on the higher plan.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Annual prepayment gets a 15% discount versus monthly. Available on all plans. Invoice and credit-card payment supported.
What about VAT?
FTS bills from Germany. EU customers with a valid VAT ID get 0% VAT under reverse charge (validated via VIES). German customers and EU customers without a VAT ID are charged 19% German VAT. Non-EU customers receive a clean invoice with no VAT.
Data privacy & compliance
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored exclusively in EU infrastructure: the database runs on Neon (PostgreSQL, Frankfurt region), and file storage uses Cloudflare R2 (S3-compatible, EU jurisdiction). We do not transfer data outside the EU at any point. Backups are also EU-only.
Is FTS GDPR compliant?
Yes. FTS is GDPR-compliant by design: minimal data collection, explicit consent for cookies, data-export and data-deletion on request (Art. 15 + Art. 17), encrypted-at-rest storage, EU-only processing, and no sale of personal data. A signed Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available for any paying customer at /datenschutz.
What AI provider does FTS use, and does it train on my data?
FTS uses Anthropic Claude (Sonnet 4.6, Haiku 4.5, Opus 4.6) via the official API. Anthropic's API terms — which FTS contractually relies on — prohibit using customer data to train models. Your cases stay your cases, full stop.
How are passwords stored?
Passwords are never stored in plaintext. Authentication is handled by Clerk (SOC 2 Type II certified), which uses bcrypt with industry-best cost parameters. We never see your password, even in logs.
What about backups?
The database is backed up nightly via Neon point-in-time recovery (7-day window on Team, 30-day on Enterprise). File storage has cross-region replication within the EU. Restore tests are run quarterly.
Is FTS SOC 2 certified?
SOC 2 Type I is targeted for Q4 2026 and Type II for Q2 2027. Our infrastructure providers (Vercel, Clerk, Stripe, Neon, Cloudflare) are all SOC 2 Type II certified. We are happy to share our security questionnaire on request.
Security
Do you support SSO (SAML, OIDC)?
Google and GitHub SSO are available on all plans. SAML 2.0 and enterprise OIDC (Okta, Azure AD, Auth0) are Enterprise-only and included in the Enterprise quote. Contact us for setup.
Is two-factor authentication available?
Yes. TOTP-based 2FA (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password) is available on all plans. Required by default for Admin role on Team and Enterprise plans. SMS-based 2FA is intentionally not supported because of SIM-swap risk.
Can I restrict access by IP address?
IP allowlisting is an Enterprise feature. We can configure your organization to only accept logins from your office or VPN IP ranges.
What about audit logs?
Every case event (create, edit, submit, review, verify, attachment upload, comment) is logged in an append-only audit trail. Retention: 12 months on Team, 36 months on Enterprise. Export to CSV anytime from Settings → Audit.
Usage & integrations
What browsers are supported?
All modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge — latest 2 versions. Mobile Safari and Chrome on iOS/Android are supported with a responsive layout. Internet Explorer is not supported.
Is there a mobile app?
Not yet. The web app is fully responsive and works well on phones and tablets for browsing and quick edits. Native iOS and Android apps are on the 2027 roadmap if there is sufficient pilot demand.
Can I import data from other tools?
CSV import is available now. Native Jira and ServiceNow connectors are on the roadmap for Q3 2026. For Confluence migrations, contact us — we offer a one-time bulk-import service via the JSON import API.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Filtered CSV export from the case list, plus a full JSON export from Settings → Data → Export that includes signed download links for every attachment. Team and Enterprise plans also get a read-only REST API. See the Admin Guide for details.
Is there a public API?
A read-only REST API for cases, members, taxonomy, and audit is on our roadmap for Team and Enterprise plans. It is not generally available yet. If API access is important for your evaluation, email hello@ferrufino-tech-solutions.com and we will share the current timeline.
Can I self-host FTS on-prem?
On-premises deployment is an Enterprise option starting Q1 2027. We deploy via Docker Compose or Kubernetes Helm into your VPC. The application stack is single-tenant, fully self-contained, and runs without internet access (AI features require optional outbound call to Anthropic). Contact us for a quote.

How do I get support?
Three options:
- AI Copilot (blue chat bubble inside the app) — instant answers about features, common tasks, and your verified cases.
- Email: hello@ferrufino-tech-solutions.com — response within 1 business day on Starter, 4 hours on Team, 1 hour on Enterprise.
- Dedicated channel — Enterprise plan customers get a private Slack Connect or Teams channel with named contacts.
What's the SLA?
Starter: best-effort uptime, no formal SLA. Team: 99.5% monthly uptime guarantee with service credits. Enterprise: 99.9% with custom credit terms in your MSA. Current real-world uptime is published on our status page.
Is there a status page?
Yes: status.ferrufino-tech-solutions.com — shows current and historical uptime, incident history, and scheduled maintenance. Subscribe to email or webhook notifications.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account → Delete Account. Personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days per GDPR Art. 17. Organization data is retained if other Admins exist. If you are the sole Admin, you must first transfer Admin rights or delete the organization.
